Historically an open cut excavation company, this family business quickly grew to become a leader in underground utility infrastructure.

Trenchless Technology Expands Our Reach.

Advances in technology have allowed SSC to focus solely on trenchless methodologies.

Considered experts in Arizona’s underground, SSC now offers trenchless consulting services and education to clients worldwide.

Celebrating 50 Years as Leaders in Underground Construction in Arizona.

Although some of the faces have changed, SSC still believes that our company can only be as strong as the values behind it. Those same solid principles that guided our grandparents back in 1969.

Our Mission

To be the leader in underground construction, provide meaningful employment, and promote positive community impact.

Marcia Veidmark’s community improvement involvement extends to her being a member of the North Mountain Village planning committee.

Phoenix Rescue Mission

SSC is a proud supporter of the Phoenix Rescue Mission through financial support and by sponsoring food and toiletry drives for employees to have the opportunity to participate.   SSC values the opportunity to support this organization that helps the most at-risk members of our population get on their feet and become contributing members of society.
